An innovative project for telling the collective story, reconnecting it to today, through micro situations taken from family, amateur and artist films. In fact, amateur film cameras return an unpublished representation of Italy in the 1920s and 1930s, showing daily life during the war and the happy days of the Liberation, recounting the rebirth of Italy, the moments of the economic boom and accompany the life of Italians up to to the 80s, the fall of the Berlin wall and the transition to VHS. <\/span><\/p>\n

L\u2019Almanacco di Home Movies 100<\/em><\/strong> is dedicated, in the anniversary of his birth, to Jonas Mekas, avant-garde masters, first singer of the home movies and precursor of this project with his pioneristic<\/span>365 day project<\/span><\/i>: for the entire 2007 year, the filmmaker published every day online a short movie shot in the same date. Inspired by the ideas of a filmed calendar, Home Movies 100 is concept lika an archive diary, based on the reasearch and the rialboration of the images shot betweent the twenties and the eighties of the Twentieth century.
