\nWith a degree in Audiovisual Communication from Ram\u00f3n Llull University and an MA in Creative Documentary from Pompeu Fabra University, Patricia Franquesa began her career in Tel Aviv. There, she collaborated with Heymann Brothers Films and Hilla Medalia, contributing to projects such as Censored<\/em> Voices <\/em>(2015, Sundance) and The Oslo Diaries<\/em> (2019, HBO) together with Daniel Sivan & Mor Loushy.
\nAfter honing her skills, Patricia returned to her hometown Barcelona to co-found Gadea Films. Under this banner, she produced La<\/em> Mami<\/em> (2019, IDFA Feature Length Competition), a documentary by Laura Herrero Garv\u00edn in co-production with Mexico.
\nPatricia made her directorial debut with Oh Dear Sara <\/em>(2021), a documentary portraying Sara Bahai, the pioneering female taxi driver from Afghanista . This project, a co-production between Spain, Norway and Serbia, premiered at festivals such as DocLisboa, Beldocs and Docs Barcelona.
