Patrick Doyon is a filmmaker based in Montreal, Canada. His first film, <\/span>Sunday<\/span><\/i>, has won recognition on the international festival circuit and was nominated for Academy Awards in 2012. He studied graphic design and divides his time between illustration and animation. Many of his works have been awarded in different competitions: NYC Art Directors Club, Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts and Arte Laguna Prize. In 2015 he received the prestigious Governor General’s Literary Award for his first children’s book The Sandwich Thief<\/em> (published by Chronicle Books).
