Between the 1910s and 1920s, in an allusive correspondence, Rosa confides a secret to her friend Giorgina: the man-machine that Marinetti talks about is not a near future for men, as the Futurists say. It is a present for women, which Georgina can receive by mail.

Angela Norelli
(Rome, 1996) is a director, screenwriter and editor who graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and a master’s degree in Philosophy from Sapienza University with a thesis on Dziga Vertov. In 2021 she made the foundfootage film Ai bambini piace nascondersi (Children Like to Hide), which was in competition at the XXXIX Torino film festival and screened at numerous national and international festivals. In the same year she mounted Lorenzo Tardella’s The Dependent Variables, which had its world premiere at the Berlinale 2022 and won the David di Donatello as the best short film of 2023. She is a finalist in the XXXVIII edition of the Franco Solinas Award (still ongoing) for the subject of the feature film Rome, Night of the Dead. She also worked as an archival researcher for Pietro Marcello and was an assistant to the editing for Jacopo Quadri.
