All You Need to Make a Film is a Gun
Para hacer una película solo hace falta un arma / Santiago Sein / Argentina / 2026 / 159′
In the mid-1970s, early film students at the University of Cordova were persecuted and their films destroyed by armed forces. Fifty years later, dozens of film canisters are discovered in an old storage room on the university campus. Their creators are three young filmmakers, two of them French, who abandoned fictional cinema to devote themselves to political documentaries and revolutionary activism. But military intervention at the university and the appearance of a strange character linked to the fate of the films reveal the sudden and violent end of the dreams of a generation of filmmakers.
