Guillaume Lafleur

Guillaume Lafleur directing programming, distribution, and publications at the Cinémathèque québécoise since 2017. Since 1999, he has published nearly a hundred articles and essays on contemporary cinema, the history of Quebec cinema, experimental cinema, and film aesthetics. He has been a guest programmer at festivals and institutions in North America and Europe.

Pietro Marcello

Pietro Marcello is a director and screenwriter. Born in Caserta, he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples. Il passaggio della linea, presented at the 2007 Venice Film Festival in the Orizzonti section, won numerous awards. In 2009, he directed the feature film The Mouth of the Wolf, which won the 27th Turin Film Festival, the Caligari Prize, and the Teddy Bear Award at the Berlinale. In 2019, he directed his first feature film, Martin Eden, based on Jack London’s novel of the same name, which won numerous awards, including the Coppa Volpi for Luca Marinelli and the Platform Prize at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival. In 2021, the film Futura, a collective investigation by Pietro Marcello, Francesco Munzi, and Alice Rohrwacher, was presented at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. His latest work,Duse with Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, was premiered in Competition at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival.

Adele Tulli

Director and film professor, Adele Tulli is interested in research and experimentation in the field of creative documentary and contemporary visual culture. In 2019, she directed her first feature-length documentary, Normal, a compelling journey through gender norms and stereotypes in contemporary Italy. The film premiered at the Berlinale and won numerous awards, including the Nastro d’Argento – Cinema del Reale, the Eurimages Lab Award, Best Documentary at Lovers in Turin, and Best Film at Queer Lisboa. In 2024, she directed Real, a visionary documentary about the human experience in the digital age. It competed at the Locarno Film Festival and was presented at numerous international festivals, where it received several awards. Tulli’s work has been screened and exhibited at numerous institutions, museums, and international festivals.

Antonietta De Lillo

Antonietta De Lillo is a photographer, director, and producer. She made her debut in 1985 with Una casa in bilico, which won the Nastro d’Argento for best first film. She has directed films, documentaries, and video portraits that have won awards at national and international festivals. In 2004, she won over audiences and critics alike with Il resto di niente, based on the historical novel by Enzo Striano and presented at the Venice Film Festival. In 2009, she founded Marechiarofilm and invented Participatory Film, a format through which she supports young authors and for which she won a Nastro d’Argento. She has also directed portraits of Alda Merini and Lucio Fulci, distributed worldwide. In 2024, she created her self-portrait L’Occhio della Gallina, which was presented at the Venice Days and was among the top five at the David di Donatello Awards for best documentary.
