He develops and imagines a world inside a darkroom. His daughter weaves a dialogue within it-a dialogue about latent and invented images, about ways of resisting and moving through the darkness. An Oscillating Shadow explores how the intimate and political weight of images can open up spaces to reflect on them as acts of resistance, both because they are created despite the horror of their context and because they offer an imaginary point of escape that might free us.

Celeste Rojas Mugica

Celeste Rojas Mugica (1987) is a Chilean-Argentinian visual artist, photographer and filmmaker who graduated in Film Production from Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola. Her research investigates the relationships between memory, violence and territorial imagery. Through experimentation with images and archives, she reflects on their social uses and political power at the border between fiction and documentary.
